Description

This 5.5-inch boning knife features a long, thin, flexible blade for precision trimming when separating meat from bones and joints.

ZWILLING Pro boasts a unique curved bolster that acts as an extension of the hand, supporting the professional pinch grip, with thumb and index finger on the blade, for safe cutting and less fatigue. The blade was designed with a broad curve in the front to facilitate the rocking motion of Western cutting, while the straight back is ideal for the chopping motion Japanese knives were designed for. The full length of the blade can be used when cutting and can be sharpened from bolster to tip.

  • Curved bolster acts as an extension of the hand, encouraging cutting with improved precision, safety, and comfort
  • SIGMAFORGE knife is forged from a single piece of special formula high-carbon stainless steel
  • Ice-hardened FRIODUR blade starts sharper, stays sharper longer
  • Precision-honed blade and laser-controlled edge ensures ideal cutting angle for sharpness and durability
  • Full tang and handle are triple riveted for superb stability and comfort
  • Dishwasher safe, hand wash recommended
  • Made in Germany
Precision meets comfort in this professional-grade 5.5-inch boning knife. The flexible blade glides through meat and joints with ease, while the curved bolster supports a secure pinch grip for safer, less fatiguing cuts. Forged from high-carbon stainless steel and ice-hardened using FRIODUR technology, the blade starts sharper and maintains its edge longer. The precision-honed, laser-controlled edge delivers consistent cutting performance, and the full tang with triple rivets ensures stability through years of use. The entire blade length—from bolster to tip—can be sharpened and used. Hand wash recommended; dishwasher safe. Made in Germany by ZWILLING Pro.
